Here at Buxton, we are delighted to present our latest TV adverts.

The lighthearted ads both celebrate the wonderful quality of ‘British-ness’. In particular, that uniquely British quality of stoicism in the face of adversity – in this case they tell the story of people enjoying the summer whatever the weather.

Set in quintessentially British scenes, a rained-out cricket ground and an extremely windy seaside pier, the adverts encapsulate that our inimitable way of approaching life. It’s a washout at the cricket, but we see fans in fancy dress dancing the conga. On the pier, a father is trying to take some family photos but is thwarted by a flying lilo which has been whipped up by the wind.
