How to live your life BuxtON
All it takes is a can-do attitude (and a little bit of bottle)
You may not realise it, but they’re everywhere. That bloke on the train. The mum pushing the pram. You might even be one yourself. BuxtON people – those people who embrace life.
Full to the brim with enthusiasm and a can-do attitude, this special lot are the have-a-go-heroes, with a never-say-die spirit, throwing themselves into anything and everything with a passion.
They’re the runners trudging up the hill in the pouring rain. The soapbox team, chucking themselves down a slope in a cart shaped like a hot dog. They’re Bradley Wiggins on Sunday, and good old Bradley from Wigan come Monday morning. They’re the doers, the tryer-outers, the bang-up-for-anything-ers. This brilliant bunch of everyday super-stars don’t care about looking cool or making a fool of themselves. They’re in it for the buzz. The craic. The kicks and giggles. They’re in it with other like-minded souls, all the way. And they’re our kind of people, every last one of them, carrying the torch for what it means to live life BuxtON.
Switch yourself BuxtON
The great thing is, you don’t have to be from round Buxton way to be BuxtON, and although we have more than our fair share it has to be said. With a bit of positivity (and maybe a regular dose of our refreshing H2O), anyone can. That’s because, BuxtON people embrace life to the full. Where some might see a problem, a BuxtON person is pumped up for a challenge. Where others may ask ‘why?’ BuxtON people ask ‘why not?’. They go for it, whatever it may be. They look on the bright side. They’re optimistic. And they don’t let anything get in the way of having a good time.
Don’t let yourself be BuxtOFF
Of course, we know life sometimes has a way of making anyone feel decidedly BuxtOFF. It happens to the best of us. Squeezing into a packed train carriage on a Monday morning. Getting caught in a downpour without a brolly. A parking ticket. These and a million other things are sent to try us on a daily basis. But instead of huffing and puffing, and giving an exaggerated sigh, don’t let if get you down. If you’re having an off-day, do something about it to switch back to feeling BuxtON.
Caught in a crowd on your commute? Bound up the stairs instead of taking the escalator to get some feel-good endorphins coursing through your veins. When you’re out for your run and you’re about to hit the wall, dig deep and do another lap, just for that feeling of achievement afterwards. Or if a traffic warden slaps the ticket on your car, give them a smile and a wave (rather than both barrels).
Water great way to live life
Naturally, you’ll find it a lot easier to be up for anything if you’re feeling well-watered*. So make sure you have your bottle ) with you at all times. Treat yourself to a drop or two at the top of the station stairs. Reach for our Sports Cap bottle as you push on through for that second lap. Cool down with a long draft if things ever get heated. After all, a refreshed you is so much more likely to be alert and ready to meet daily challenges head-on, and come out the other side, feeling on top of the world. Otherwise known as feeling BuxtON.
Be more BuxtON every day
So what are you waiting for? Switch yourself BuxtON today and start to reap the rewards. After all, life’s too short to be BuxtOFF for long. Pump yourself up and go for it, whatever it is you’re up for, and start making amazing things happen.
