Supporting Prudential RideLondon, Every Sip of the way
Proud sponsor the world’s biggest festival of cycling, for the 2nd year in a row.
We’re pleased as punch to once again announce our sponsorship of Prudential RideLondon, the biggest festival of cycling in the world, from 29th to the 30th July, 2017. Well, we loved it so much last year, there was no stopping us this time round.
Yep, we’ll be there Every Sip of the Way, supporting thousands of riders, pros and plucky amateurs alike, before, during and after the event as they take to the streets of London for peddling fun and games (tweet #EverySip to show your support too).
It’s our way of helping to make Prudential RideLondon an even more unforgettable weekend, for everyone in the cycling community. Well, we’re always on the side of the have-a-go-heroes out there, naturally up for a challenge. That’s why Prudential RideLondon is exactly the kind of things that gets us pumped up to the max.
Celebrating cycling all the way
A huge, fun-filled festival of cycling that’s growing in popularity every year, Prudential RideLondon gives everyone who enjoys getting on two wheels, from the full-on lycra lovers, to those who prefer an easier ride, the chance to mix it up with like-minded biking fans.
There’s the free family cycle in central London on Saturday, a race with the world’s best professionals to watch, plus 100 and 46 mile rides on the same roads as the pros, that anyone who’s registered can join in with.
That’s on top of a load of other top action, from trial stunts to Wheel Love for romantic types, live music and more – at seven amazing Festival Zones, dotted around some of London’s most iconic locations. All with the added incentive of raising money for good causes. How’s that for awesome?
Staying well-watered all the way
Of course, as with any sport, keeping hydrated is super-important for anyone taking part. After all, just a 2% reduction in fluids can result in a 10% to 20% loss of performance*.
Naturally, the best way to make sure this doesn’t happen is to drink more water (we’d recommend a crisp, delicious bottle of Buxton, of course). That’s why, whether you’ve come along to compete in one of the rides, popped by to enjoy a good time or are simply along to cheer on the gutsy peddlers, you can always swing by our stand in Green Park on the Saturday for some pumped up entertainment.

Buxton moves to London
Just like last year, lucky London is about to enjoy a little bit of Buxton, on their doorstep too. That’s right, once again we’re heading down south to our great nation’s capital with near life-sized replicas of our beautiful Buxton Bridge, and other landmarks from around these parts.
We’ll then plonk them slap-bang in the middle of the Prudential RideLondon Trials Battle Arena, in Green Park.
And then see some of the best professional stunt cycle riders on the planet, led by the legendary Andrei Burton, jumping off them as they attempt to break a bunch of Guinness world records.
After all, they were up for it last time, creating some of the most jaw-dropping action of the weekend, as they bunny-hopped and wheelied their way around obstacles and platforms, high up on our Buxton landmarks.
Andrei himself broke three records - but luckily no bones - before lunchtime.
And he’s got a whole load of record attempts up his sleeve this year too. Who knows, maybe he’ll go one better (we wouldn’t put it past him – he’s a pretty pumped up kind of guy). If you’re in the area, come along to the Buxton stand at Green Park on the Saturday, and cheer him on.
Saddle up and ride on down
So why not join in with all the fun, watching Andrei and his team going for glory, supporting the riders, or hanging out with us at our stand on Saturday 29th July. Simply head on down to Prudential RideLondon from the 29th – 30th July, and soak up the atmosphere at this amazing celebration of cycling.
