This Running Playlist Will Make You Unstoppable
Let’s face it, clocking up the miles on long Marathon training runs can leave you feeling less than pumped up, and thirsty for some extra motivation. But doing something as simple as adding some fresh bangers to your music playlist can give you added bounce.
So, we’ve done the legwork (well, you do enough of that, pounding the pavement and treadmill) and put together a playlist that’s sure to keep your running on track.
When you’re motivated and hydrated, you’re unstoppable
Our exciting new playlist has a water theme (surprise, surprise), designed to be a little reminder to stay hydrated on your training runs and on the big day. Because when you’ve got the right music to run to and you’re well hydrated, there ain’t no stopping you.
So, what’s on there? Well, we’ve got waterfalls, rivers and oceans (not just Billy, there’s the brilliant Dexter remix too). We’ve even got an Oasis!
You’ll also find classics like Smoke On The Water by Deep Purple, The Weather Girls’ It’s Raining Men (hallelujah), The Whole Of The Moon by The Waterboys – and of course, no water-themed list would be complete without a belter or two from Wet Wet Wet.
There are a few nice surprises to keep you running to the beat, too. Like – spoiler alert – the Bieber-licious Cold Water and Born to run by
