Proud to Support Sweat and Tears
Twists and turns are a part of life, just like sweat and tears.
And together we will find a way through.
1in 4 will experience a mental health problem each year, which is why looking after our physical and mental health is more important than ever.
Whilst we know exercise and hydration are good for us, 9 in 10 Brits still aren’t drinking the recommended 2l a day and the everyday impact on our physical and mental health goes unnoticed. Since 2023, Buxton and Mind have joined forces on a shared mission to support the nation's Sweat and Tears – actively championing physical and mental health through exercise and hydration. Buxton will donate half a million over three years to increase access to mental health support services across the nation.
And that’s just the start. Together, the mission of Buxton and Mind is to directly support the Sweat and Tears of over 1 million Brits over the next 3 years through events and services. So get involved - we're here for the twists and turns, together!
Whether it’s a chat on the Side by Side platform, meeting with a friend to exercise and hydrate together, signing up to an event, sharing your story with our #riseuptogether! Buxton & Mind. Proud to Support Sweat and Tears.
Over 3 years (2024-2026), Buxton will donate half a million pounds to Mind (registered charity number 219830) as a result of the Sweat and Tears promotion. For more information on Mind or support please visit www.mind.org.uk

The Benefits of Cross Training
Cross training really just means incorporating a number of different activities into your exercise routine. By doing this you’ll use a range of movements and load a variety of muscles, bones, joints, and ligaments which in turn will help avoid the repetition or impact injuries associated with a single activity, such as running.
